☕ BEFORE THE FIRST SIP 🌍

Season Two: Until All Have Heard

Episode 1: Who Is Still Waiting?

“And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”
Romans 10:14 NKJV

Somewhere in the world this morning, while you are pouring that first cup of coffee, someone else is beginning another ordinary day.

A mother is preparing food for her family, a farmer is walking toward his field, a shopkeeper is opening for business, and children are preparing for another day of school. Their language, culture, and surroundings may be very different from ours, yet they carry many of the same hopes, struggles, responsibilities, and questions about life that we do.

But some will begin and end this day without something many of us take for granted: meaningful access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

🌍 They may live where there are very few followers of Jesus, where Scripture is difficult to obtain in a language they understand, or where cultural, religious, geographic, or linguistic barriers make hearing the Gospel extraordinarily difficult.

That is where our new journey begins.

Welcome to Season Two of Before the First Sip: Until All Have Heard.

During our last season, we learned to look beyond statistics and see the person behind the story. Now we’re widening the lens as we travel into the nations, learning about unreached peoples, missionaries, indigenous believers, Scripture access, prayer, and the unfinished work of the Great Commission.

Some Mondays will take us to places where I have personally walked and served, while others will introduce us to peoples and places I am still learning about myself. Very soon, this journey will become especially personal as I travel to Togo, West Africa, where I hope God will allow me to bring new stories back to this table.

📖 Jesus told His followers to “make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19 NKJV), and Revelation gives us a beautiful glimpse of where God’s story is heading: a multitude from “all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues” standing before the Lamb (Revelation 7:9 NKJV).

So throughout this season, I want to invite you into a simple Monday morning rhythm:

☕ Brew your coffee.
📖 Open your Bible.
🌍 Find the nation on the map.
🙏 And before the first sip, pray.

Pray for those who have not heard, for the missionaries and indigenous believers carrying the Gospel into difficult places, for churches to be planted and disciples to be made, and remain willing if someday God turns your prayer for someone else into a call of your own.

Because somewhere this morning, someone may still be waiting to hear the name of Jesus.

And Paul’s question still stands:

“How shall they hear?”

🌍 Until All Have Heard.

☕ Coffee is the invitation. Jesus is the destination.

Fueling hope, one cup at a time.
